Quick Summer Look

Ahhh it’s getting HOT! No time for serving full face. Here is what will probably be my go to summer face.

Here’s what I did:

On a clean, moisturized face I used my hands and fingers to work in L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder in 316 Nude Beige all over my face. I like this stuff because it dries to a powdery finish, without a ton of coverage but enough to even out the skin tone. It also doesn’t break up on me over the day.

I did set my eye area with a translucent powder.

No concealer.

I used some of the new Master Glaze Creme Stick Blushes by Maybelline in Barely Pink on my cheeks. This one is on the bronzey side with a bit of shimmer to add dimension.

Next I lightly bronzed the perimeters of my face with a Real Techniques Contour Brush and L’Oreal True Match Powder in Soft Sable.

I filled in my brows with an angle brush andgel eyeliner, this one is Sephora in Statue Bronze.

I threw NYX’s Jumbo Stick in Flushed in my waterline to open my eyes up.

I curled my lashes and added NYX Full Figured Mascara in Waterproof on the top only. I like this mascara for natural looks. It doesn’t add much volume or length just darkens the lashes with a touch of length and nice separation. Plus it’s waterproof.

For lips I went with NYX Butter Balm in Marshmallow, which is a nicely pigmented nude chapstick.

Last, a spritz of Urban Decay’s All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

    Wow, your makeup looks great!!
Do you love the UD All Nighter? I should be receiving a deluxe mini of it in the mail this week. I’ve never used a makeup setting spray before so I’m not sure what to expect but I hear good things about it…

I do like it yea. Does what it says it ought to: ) I hope you like it too! I find setting sprays work best with a lighter hand. I’ve doused my face and all that work just slides right off.

Yes, that’s what I’m afraid of….spraying too heavily! But I’m looking forward to trying it!
